last years resolutions and outcomes:
spend more time getting to know my many and far spread brothers. check-ish, i saw them more, and they met john. baby steps. learn how to drive to places that are far away better check! amherst is down pat now. and i made it to northern michigan and back without a hitch. or just learn to drive better. like on the highway. and parallel parking no dice. i haven't parallel parked since my driving test.
and the last one: i was going to say get drunk with marc and john...but i thought my little sister might take offense... well half check. but i can't be blamed for the lack of marc in my life. the other stuff, check plus.
and this years resolutions, well i didn't give them much thought, but here goes: 1. meet new people 2. stay in touch with my close friends from high school whom i miss 3. do something big or new in musical theater, like direct or push my performance skills 4. live with my friends and love it and them
i assume my next post will be inviting you to my birthday party, so see you in a few months livejournal.

I hope you've all been planning out your trip to umass because... NEXT WEEKEND:
COMPANY Featuring yours truly and WATA's very own Deidre Cullen May 4, 5, and 6 at 8pm all nights, and and additional matinee at 2 on saturday.
This show is seriously so phenomnial, i can't even stand it. And it's only five bucks. And romeo and juliet starring Ty Medley as Romeo and Brett as Paris is the same weekend, so you can catch the matinee of that and come to closing night of Company!
Make a weekend out of it! It'll be worth the gas money!
Plus i'd get to see your lovely faces.
Remember May 4, 5, and 6th. Company. Come see it. I mean i fight karate and tap dance. plus a little extra that i won't ruin for you.

i am throughly enjoying life these day. i'm ridiculously busy. and though i'd like to see john more, i manage to do just about everything i like doing, regularly. tonight for example, my roomate isn't here so when i got in from hanging with people at 2, i turned on all the lights, the tv, music, my fan, and did whatever i felt like, without worrying that i was keeping her up. in fact i'm so exhausted, i could fall asleep right now, but i dont want to waste my night in my dorm room alone.
and now at 3:35 in the morning, i'm going to take a shower, because i feel like it.
come see "company" it's going to be so freaking awesome, you explode. truth.

i just freaking love westford. i love driving around westford. i love going into stores, i love going to people's houses. i love nab lake.
i fucking love westford. it makes me feel all warm inside.

I finished my homework and i can't even tell you how much the load has been lifted from my shoulders. i am going crazy these days, with company rehearsals and vocal suspects rehearsals and midtemrs looming, and frankly the fact that i got these two huge projects done has just made me feel so much better. plus it means that i can return to my afternoon regime of grey's anatomy and napping. so am i going to have to drive to fall river in order to see raft of the medusa, because for real that is a bit extreme.

i've found that if i wash my bangs it looks like all off my hair is clean and people think i look better. so thats what i do now. i only wash my bangs, except maybe once a week i wash the rest of my beastly hair.
i finally figured out how to beat the system.

[17 Feb 2006|04:23pm] |
so i got into company. and then i tried out for the Vocal Suspects, the BEST co-ed a capella group on campus. They had one open alto spot they were looking to fill. I tried out on a whim. Got called back and was shocked because there were at least 30 girls at the auditions and they only called back 4. anyways. all of the girls were really good, so i was kinf od like whatev, i'll be bummed to not get in, they all looked like fun people, but at least i'm in company. meanwhile one of the guys in the group lives in my building. so like two hours after callbacks end, we're talking a little bit after midnight, he drops by my room. and proceeds to talk about how tough the auditions were, and the desicion making process, and how GLAD he was that we were both in company so we could be friends. basically telling me i didn't make it, but no hard feelings, ok? so i'm trying to keep a happy face on, but i'm definitly bummed, and he goes to leave and all of the sudden... 12 people come rushing into my dorm room screaming "congratulations!" etc. It was pure madness, i didn't stop squealing for a solid three minutes, and there was much clapping of hands together with glee and giggling and jumping up and down. i think i hugged everyone.
basically best week ever. also i only didn't get to see john two of the days, and i'm seeing him again tonight! my life is so sweet!

[12 Feb 2006|09:36pm] |
so after four and a half hours at an open call audition, and 8 hours of callbacks, deidre and i beat out 55 girls and got two of eight female parts in "Company" holy crap, we couldn't stop screaming when we found out. i'm still giggling. you should all come, dee is a drunk and i'm a naggy wife.

one more week of vacation. for those of you that i haven't seen much of now's the time to make your move.
and go see last yankee. it's sweet. my sister wears this totally sexy little number and does a hoochie mama dance. or something like that.

i should edit people's papers for a dollar a pop over break next year. call it a job and tell me mom to stop nagging me about money. i bet i could make like twenty bucks. or i'll just go on doing it for free cause what do i care? that's right. i dont.

attention class of 2005 the senior supplement is in!
but wait, please dont get excited.
you can't put it in your yearbook because...it's a picture cd. what pictures you may ask?
there are like 40 pictures of 5 girls playing tennis. 10 pictures of boys playing tennis. a whole bunch of pictures from graduation. tons of pictures from cottillion and oh wait no, thats it.
no prom. no spring sports other than some action shots of tennis, not even the whole team. no spring theater. no disney. AND NO PROM! it needed to be said twice.
so basically i'm pissed. there isn't even a nice lable on each cd. it just says in black sharpie marker "spring supplement '05"
frankly i want to know to whom the lynching mob should be directed.

ahh i love this time of year on livejournal. i looked back at last year's resolutions and here they are:
"go to college not be bad at spelling, thank you scott. sing more grunge, grunge"
I went to college! check! I'm still bad at spelling, but i'm better at proofreading. almost check. i am still incapable at singing grunge like a boy, see graduation song. no check.
and now THIS YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS!
spend more time getting to know my many and far spread brothers. learn how to drive to places that are far away better, or just learn to drive better. like on the highway. and parallel parking
i was going to say get drunk with marc and john...but i thought my little sister might take offense...

have you ever had a sudden thought come out of nowhere? today that happened to me. only this time, i told a few people about it, and they thought it'd be fun.
basically, click on this link. even if you dont have a facebook you can look at it.
http://umass.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2006075&l=f6534&id=9119718
basically we have mental health issues, but somebody offered us twenty bucks for something i couldn't quite hear, so that's nice, right?

so who knows if it will be a snow, but...i checked my e-mail: "Hello all. I thought long and hard about it. There is no way I can justify having you come in tomorrow when the storm is supposed to be at its height. Stay warm, see you on Monday. -Dr K"
one down, two to go. and as it stands i'm done with classes at eleven

[28 Nov 2005|12:25am] |
at aproximately ten oh five tonight me and my neighbor, who looks just like napoleon dynamite, but who acts nothing like him, went on a mission to dunkin' donuts. i got a bagel. he got a muffin. and we jointly bought a dozen donuts to have for breakfast tomorrow. I cannot wait to get up and decide whether i want a: a) chocolate glazed b) maple frosted with sprinkles or c) pink frosted with sprinkles
frankly it doesn't matter because my share of the dozen will be gone in less than two days, anyways.

ps. at the thanksgiving game dan galvin got his bloods on my face. but i didn't mind because who doesn't love a galvin? and we fucking won.

[22 Nov 2005|09:45pm] |
i have this week come to a conclusion. disclaimer: i do not support smoking ciggarettes.
BUT should they create a ciggarette that was free of addiction, health risks, and the other nasty side affects like yellowing of the teeth and fingers, i'd start smoking right away. or maybe not start smoking right away, but be more open about the fact that i find smoking to be the most badass, sexy thing i can even imagine. i mean really. nothing is sexier. nothing. the end.
in other news i'll be home tomorrow by two thirty. let's hang out. see some of those 5-10 holidays movies i'm dying to see.

[13 Nov 2005|11:12pm] |
it hasn't quite hit me yet what the end of this play means for me. i've been in rehearsal since the second week of college. and frankly the first week of college was miserable. i dont really have anything else to do with my time. plus i really liked all those guys.
basically, i'm in trouble. looks like westford army in amherst will be seeing tons more of me. and that i will be seeing a lot more of cable tv.

[03 Nov 2005|10:42pm] |
i'm seeing hanson in like, a minute i'm going to call mary mcgee the moment i get to westford and we'll probz leave not soon after cause 99% of hanson fans are hella awkward and like to line up for their concerts literally days before hand because they have no lives. but we do so we'll go to alewife and then take the t and call katie caffrey and cassandra lanno on the way and tell them we're coming and then we'll probz grab some nourishment and then go get in line for the ride of our motherfucking lives
love, alice elise maria fernando pequito dorito mosquito burrito triscuito bergin
p.s. maybs we'll call xtine and be all, um u work @ avalon... plus the opening band is called the pat mcgee band so mary is probz like, related distantly or something so they should let us get on their tour bus and get drunk with them and then mary and andrea and laurel will take the sat's on 3 hours of sleep with hangovers

This friday. One night only. Alice Bergin in Westford, Ma.
I'm going to kevin holubs's show at 5:30 and you should too. even if it's for the sole purpose of sitting with me. and those of you not going to the halloween dance should give me a call. or call me after you get bored. basically i miss you, let's hang out.
in 48 hours i leave for westford. could i be more excited?

[18 Oct 2005|12:18am] |
yeah. i'm at the point that i'm bored with my classes and class work. and worried about tommy and my part in it. and mostly i just want to watch illegally downloaded episodes of girlmore girls and the o.c. that i miss because of rehearsal and hang out with john, doing nothing. frankly, i'm over so october. and i need a motivational speaker to harass me on a daily basis, so i'm more efficient. meanwhile i also want to know what "celebrities" are participating on that new celebreality tv show "but can they sing." Because none of the commercials show any stars, and i'm curious.

did i ever tell you how much i loved senior year? it's true. i did. this time last year was the homecoming dance. the seniors won spirit week. and i started dating john. caitlin broke her nose on his face. i still have the baseball bats. not to mention i still thought we were doing into the woods. basically. all this to say i miss all you westford guys, even though i'm having fun here at zoomass. see you soon i hope.

i'm so happy,

[06 Oct 2005|04:08pm] |
so today i got punked by some robot who talked to me online and i thought it was some random person who had my screen name for no reason. it really explained why the questions they asked were so random. not to mention the fact that the person introduced themselves as jennie/17/california but their screen name was b0onthugz2399. frankly, this better have been done by my eleven year old brother, or someone i know is losing some major respect points. apparently now i am supposed to return the favor by going to "imprank.ebaumsworld(dot)com" and doing the same to all my frineds, so i can read the conversation and "laugh it up" seriously guys, if you did this and not johnny, i may cry a little for you.
